Flea & Tick Season is Almost Here- Are you protected?

Spring is finally in the air and now it's time to worry about those pesky bugs. Especially ones that can harm us and our pets. Flea and tick season is just around the corner here in IL. If you live in the most southern states such as Florida, it is a year round task. So we are lucky only to have to worry about it for several months.  Check out the map above to see when you are affected by fleas and ticks in your area.

 

There are natural products made with essential oils to help fight fleas and ticks. We have tried the wipes by Pets Natural and you must coat your dog from head to paw in order for it to be effective. Then in several days you must re-apply. It's a lot of work if you are pressed for time. Being so busy with Ledfoots Pet Bakery just don't have the time. We do use Front line recommended by our vet. I don't like putting chemicals on them, but we don't have fleas or ticks. Our dogs get Fleas Be Gone Dog Treats.
