Christmas Pet Safety Tips

Scooby get out of that tree! Our pets love this time of year, to get in trouble. If it's not the cat then it's the dogs playing in the tree. So here are a few tips to keep them safe this Christmas.
Ornaments on the tree are kept up high and we don't use any breakable ornaments. That way if they do get the ornaments they can't break and cause real problems.
Keep them away from mistle toe and holly it will make them real sick if ingested. Try using artificial plants made from silk or plastic. It's a lot safer.
Don't feed them table scraps. Especially turkey bones or fat which can cause major digestive problems.
Give them a quiet room to get away from your guests. Some cats like to hide under the bed when guest arrive, so give them the space to relax.

Are you going anywhere this holiday or staying home and having company?

We wish you and your pets safe and Merry Christmas!

Keeping Warm this Winter Making Homemade Dog Treats

It's really cold out there. We have had an early winter. According to our calender winter officially starts December 21st. You could have fooled us. Most of the country is getting hit by winter weather. So we hope everyone stays safe. We are trying to keep warm. Wait did they turn off the oven yet? Still baking dog treats I see. It has been busy around here with the holidays around the corner. After the holidays are over will be working on some new dog treats. What new treats would you like to see the bakery make?

Daisy (pictured above) likes to play in the snow. In fact we just bought her and Scooby sweaters to wear in the frigid weather. They do get cold just like us and should not be outside for long periods, when the temperature drops below freezing. So keep them safe and warm.
How do you keep your pets warm?

What kind of weather are you having?

Scooby and little Rascal taking a nap together. Who said cats and dogs don't get along? They are great buddies and look out for each other.  I just love how they get along with each other.
