St. Patricks Day Shamrock Homemade Dog Treats

It's almost here!  In a couple of weeks it will be St. Patrick's day. Yes, time to get your green out. We've been to the Chicago St. Patrick's Day parade and it was a lot of fun. I never seen so many people dress in green before. I like the outfits and costumes they put together. People are very creative.

That's when the wheels started turning about making a healthy dog treat for St. Patrick's day. Shamrock dog treats are made with spinach, which gives these a nice green color the natural way. We don't believe in using artificial coloring. It's not good for them and it would make our dog Miss Daisy sick. So we found a natural healthy solution for her problem and never looked back.   Do you have any problems with your dogs? Do You Shop at Your Local Farmers Market?

Summer is here and so are the local Farmers Markets. We are in Huntley, IL on Saturdays 8am-1pm and on Sundays we are @ Sycamore Farmers Market 10am-2pm. It is so much fun. I love meeting all our customers face to face. The most popular treats we sell at the markets are Fleas Be Gone Dog Treats, Bad Breath Mints dog treats, Savory Sweet Potato, Gourmet Peanut Butter,  and the most popular cat treats are Savory Cheese Cat Treats and Happy Cat Pumpkin Treats. We also have bully sticks, Alzoo Natural Flea and Tick repellents, Bobbi Panter shampoos, dog toys, cat toys and so much more.

There are a variety of vendors at the markets this year. In Huntley Vicki sells her natural soaps, there is also a meat vendor, egg vendor, and of course farmers selling their goods. I enjoy the live entertainment the markets provide. It makes for a great shopping experience. We would love to meet you if you live in the area. Wordless Wednesday- Homemade Dog Treats!

Homemade dog treats are the best. These pupcakes are made with pumpkin and frosted with non-fat yogurt. Testing out new recipes this week and our taste testers just loved them. The best part our dog with a very sensitive stomach can have them. Since we don't use any preservatives or fillers, which make her sick, it does make a big difference. Feeding Daisy natural dog food and treats is the only way to go. We are very happy with our choice. What food and treats do you feed your pets?
